LearnPBL was built by educators and engineers who were tired of watching smart people collect certificates they could not demonstrate. We built the platform we wish had existed.
Mission
Replace passive consumption with active construction
The most successful practitioners in every field learned by doing. Surgeons practice on cadavers, engineers build bridges, writers revise manuscripts. Yet online education defaults to the least effective method: watching someone else do it.

Research basis
Grounded in decades of learning science
The evidence for project-based learning spans cognitive science, educational psychology, and workplace performance research. Constructivist theory (Piaget, Vygotsky), retrieval practice (Roediger), and deliberate practice (Ericsson) all point to the same conclusion: we learn by doing, reflecting, and doing again.
Our curriculum team works with learning scientists to structure each project around spaced retrieval, interleaving, and elaborative interrogation — the highest-yield techniques in the literature.
